A Peek inside the Military Mind

I am a warrior. I fight so you don't have to. I fought to create a country of free people.

And I fought to preserve that country.

I have fought against tyrants and dictators.

And brought freedom to Iraq.

And I ran to your defense when our country was attacked.

I have fought for your right to betray me.

I have fought for your right to compare me to the very dictators I have destroyed.

I have fought for your right to call me a killer.

I have fought for your right to call me stupid.

I have fought for your right to burn the flag that defines who I am.

I have fought for your right to disparage and disrespect the country I love.

I fight, not for glory or medals, but for you. I put myself in harm's way, to keep you safe and free. I do not fight because I am incapable of doing a "real job". I fight, because

I Am An Airman. I Am A Marine. I Am A Sailor. I Am A Soldier.

Author's note: To all of our troops. You are loved. You are appreciated. I am proud of you and because of you I Am A Free American. Thank you.

I am not well-adjusted

“The reason a person is a conservative republican is because something is wrong with them. Again, that’s science – that’s neuroscience. You cannot be well adjusted, open-minded, pluralistic, enlightened and be a republican. It’s counter-intuitive. And they revel in their anti-intellectualism. They revel in their cruelty.” `Jeaneane Garafalo

I am not well adjusted because I think the government should stay out of my business. I am not open-minded because I don't think Barak Hussein Obama is qualified (or eligible for that matter) to be our president. I am not pluralistic because I believe if you immigrate to this country...you should have to adjust to us, not the other way around. I am not enlightened because I do not believe we should redefine marriage....... Yep I'm a Republican all right. However, with all due respect to Ms. Garafalo (which is zero) you don't know what you're talking about. You think that being a liberal democrat somehow makes you more compassionate than I. Well, that's just stupid. I just believe that compassion should be a personal choice and done at a local and personal level....not forced on me by a tyrannical centralized socialist government. I, as a thinking individual, believe that the Constitution of the United States of America provides equal opportunity, not equal results. I do not believe that someone who refuses to educate themselves, expand their skill set to match the needs of the job market, and chooses to sit around and have babies with no father present and no visible means of support, deserves the same stuff as I do. Call me cold hearted and cruel if you must, but I'm right and you're wrong and that is why we have a generation of children about to enter the work force who have no work ethic, believe that everything should be handed to them regardless of their effort, and have no understanding of personal responsibility or accountability (thank you President Clinton).

You, Ms. Garafalo, besides being a constant irritation and distraction for me when watching 24, are an idiot. But this is America and you have that right.....so spew on darlin', nobody with a brain is listening.
